I am definitely a fan of Livescope. It's nice not to fish areas without crappie and to know what level the fish are hanging out to target. It has taught me that a lot of things I believed about crappie were wrong and how they actually react to jig.
I admit it is extremely frustrating to see a large school of crappie on a brush pile ignoring everything you offered to them.
Many are saying to wait for Huminbird's version of Livescope but Huminbird's version is more of a vision than a reality. So I will continue to enjoy my Livescope and think about getting the Huminbird's version when it finally hits the market if it is better than Livescope.
