    Default Chinese crappie ?

yes sir that's right , in spots where there aint a thermocline I am pretty sure the larger fish have gone deep enough to become immigrants in china .
and thus making them Chinese crappie
all kidding aside if you don't have a developed thermocline in lots of cases midday larger crappie are very deep in some spots on some lakes .
this isn't a golden rule and to be sure rules are made to be broken , but I do see some larger fish parked real deep right now midday .
without a graph or boat I only guess and probe and see what I can find here and there and to be sure the largest I have managed on 2 different visits to one spot were parked flat out on the bottom midday with the lesser fish above them as is often the case when they are not deep as well .
just a quick fyi for you sun anglers
