I caught a handful of em at Joe Pool once by chance. Only time and only place I've ever seen one. I've been wondering the same about places around here though, as I'd like to start targeting bream a little more. I've fished for em on occasion and caught plenty by accident, but I could probably stand to get some pointers on better locating them and beds locally and such from the bank. How to better avoid yellow bass when fishing for them would be nice too. Those little yellow suckers won't leave your line alone sometimes. I imagine we may be seeing some sunfish photos from the EZ Fish Slips shortly. Maybe they'll pull up some crackers in the mix.
I've caught some real nice bluegill and longear when I'm not trying to catch them. Greens. Maybe some others. Benbrook, Weatherford, Cleburne, Alvarado, Eagle Mtn and Worth (docks), and JP is where I've caught most of them. A couple of those got some gooduns in there. The others aren't bad. I've heard Weatherford isn't as good anymore though. I plan on finding out. I've stumbled into some off the Isle pier at Ray Bob in the summer. Lewisville near the office/pier 121. Got into a bunch on Whitney one time about 20 years ago lol. Those are ones that stick out in memory. When I try to find and catch em on foot, it don't go quite as planned most times. It's not often that I do though.
