The slip fishing has slowed down at Lynn Creek Marina. It's no longer a crappie on just about every drop of the jig. You can still catch enough keepers to make a meal but you must work for it. And they tend to be on the small end of legal.
It appears to be time to move from the slips to the brush and structure on the lake. But the weather and the wind has not been that kind over the last couple of weeks so I have stayed with the slips.
We are also finding more catfish off the rocks where we were catching crappie a few weeks ago.
But we are still catching and still having fun and that is what counts.
