Thread: Pick a color

Any color! I already have other jigs/colors glued up, but I got bored (obviously) and started throwing some stuff together new and old and wanted to see what you would use first from this bunch if you had to. I added in two Hinees and one of my regulars for fun. And a lil tied jig that came from who knows where however long ago. Need to bend the hooks on a few

Your jigs look a lot different from my favorited so not sure what I would use from yours, but I will post my favs for you to see.

I lost all my handties and other stuff not long ago, but I use the plastic bodies and unpainted heads in there a lot. The roadrunner combinations look kind of goofy, but that was the idea and why I asked lol. A few from it was Walmart clearance stuff. The Hinees I’ll rarely use. The bottom left probably never. I’ve never used a sausage head and rarely use the joker style body. I like that bottom jig of yours a lot. Thanks for playing along.

To me it wouldn't matter what kind of jig it is, my first choice is Chart and Blue, then Chart and Black unless the water is clear enough for me to see my jig 3 feet down in the water. Then it's the Silver/Blue/White or Silver/Silver/Blue. If it's like after a big rain and even more stained than usual I want the Hot Orange tail jig!

Orange and chartreuse for sure one of my top 3 favorite colors the joker would be 2nd black head silver body 3rd silver chartreuse last

Yeah, orange/chart and orange/green is a goodun around here. I like monkey milk or something like it a lot

What would you put with the Hot Orange tail jig? Black body? Solid orange?

Or are you referring to what you posted previously up above?

The one above is what I have had a lot of good luck with. The FL Yellow and Black Chenille body one and it looks like the Green Chartreuse, but that is what happens to FL Yellow when you put it next to Black or even Blue. The head is Flame Red which I use a lot too.
