I went last Sunday. Nada. The water is still in the upper 40's. Started out fishing back of coves around some tops I got out. Not a bite. I saw a lot of baitfish on my graph out in the open water out from the culvert in about 35-40 FOW. Also tried up in the cove just west of the state park in shallow. Nuthin. Of course, this is right after the front that came thru. Tried to buy some shiners at that store by the public ramp, but they were CLOSED! Imagine that, a bait store on the lake that is closed on a weekend day. Fished jigs. They should start moving up middle to latter part of March on the new side. Water is clearer. Caught a 3 pounder last year. Would love to take off on Friday when it will be 70 degrees before the next front. May go try Ray Roberts for a bit till the water warms up on Amon Carter. There's HOGS in there!
