    No, not with Pico cranks but the old jig and minnow. Lots of minnows are schooling around the banks. We catch an occasional crappie in the laid over timber on the banks. Not seeing many crappie on brushpiles yet but we are hoping in a month that changes. Here is a black and white my brother caught yesterday.

    Some people hate minnows because they think it is not "professional" to use live bait like everyone else does but I swear by minnows! Tying your own jigs is satisfying but catching MORE and bigger fish using natural bait is the best form of crappie fishing there is!

    It’s been tough to ketch em in these parts for sure ....the local professional crappie guys are even using minnows
    Might need to get some minnows ....
