Drove in from lafayette la. Last night. Can't buy a crappie today. All we have been getting is short strikes under and around the hwy 6 bridge. Using shiners, and most everything academy sells.
Any help is apretiated.

Find a deep cove and troll it quickly with cranks. Depending on what you find on the graph you may want to slow down with jigs/minnows over the sweet spots then move on. Find the bait and you will find the sacs underneath.

Sorry I took a week off as my oldest son and grandson came for a visit. Anyway I feel it's too late, but I would look for some water 25' to 35' for some brush. The left the 20' water in the last couple weeks so deeper it has to be by now.
