    Default Weatherford lake report

Don’t have time to load photos today but they were still in 20 plus deep water and not aggressive . Water temperature was 53 to 55 and they were stacked up on deep piles . My bud did ketch a nice one at 2.25 , but most were small and tuff to ketch .
Some were suspended at around 16 or so deep and lots were parked on the bottom in around 22 to 26 foot deep water right under them ...
    Soon is my hopes ....

Hey Mark, was that you with a guy that had a drone fishing by the wall last Friday? If not they were pulling some out of deep water. just out of casting distance. Thought for sure they would hit around dark-thirty. Got a couple of minners skint up and left for home at half past dark. "I'll be back". How long before BB turns on? Tried Sunshine Lake on Sunday and notanibble! Sam

Good to hear the lake is making a comeback. We lived in Azle from 2005to 2013 and I never remember seeing it with enough water to launch a boat.

BB is messed up stupid flooded but they are dropping the water out of it super fast and it might come around soon I hope . it was a bass fest yesterday ,don't know though about the crappie spawn if they don't hold the water at some point still enough for the fish to set up .
I wasn't over there Friday at Weatherford (we went Sunday afternoon) and I thought for sure Sunshine would be about on FIRE right about this time , I told my wife I might hit it today but now I wonder ....LOL
