Good day. I just got back from overseas and ready to get back to fishing. What is the latest reports on Canyon Lake? Have the fish started moving up yet? I have not fished Canyon in years and I am making it my new home lake. Thanks

don't know that spot but if they make a winter run they are there now , if its a spring run I aint sure about that

Thanks. I know that there is several people that I work with that make Yak runs up the river to chase Whites. I will get with them a see if they are caught anything.

might look close at the tpw website I think there is some kind of consumption warning on canyon I saw the other day

I was looking and most all the lakes in Texas have the consumption warnings. Mercury is the issue and is in stripped bass and gar from what it said.
