Thread: spotty at times but a few are around

seems to be a few around at certain times in certain places .
case in point , went out after lunch Friday in a driving rain and wind and cccold .
was very difficult to even detect if there was bite and started at slip number 4 with a big ole slab white up on the dock first drop , finned me good and got away before I could get a photo . I was pretty pumped , of course as it often happens ,30 minutes or more later NOTHING ... and I was wet and cccold .
went all the way to slip number 20 before I found another bite .
then it was a hammer dog on my jig affair . got my line broke twice and landed 5 and missed a few other good bites in the mix due to a partially frozen rod hand ....
so it seems you might get on em good and or maybe not but they are around and in a strange mood of some sort ......
And NO the photos are NOT enhanced , my skin color was that red ....
