    Default Ft Hood crappie


    Anyone here fish near Ft Hood? Im here for two weeks and would like to catch a few.

    If I recall, Belton Lake is close by. Don't know anything about it though.

    I don't either, but know there are a bunch of guys that call themselves the Belton Bangers, LOL! I know they are crappie fishermen too. A couple years back I tied a few jigs for several of them. Also is Lake Summerville too far from you?? I know a lot of guys fish it for crappie a lot!
    I just don't know the area well enough around Ft. Hood

    come down to Austin and we can fish Granger tomorrow after church. There is a tourney next Saturday. Might come down for weight in.
