My son is a coach in the Waco area and they are on spring break next week. If you know much about coaches you know their schedule is packed full and much of the time almost 7 days a week so he doesn't get much of a chance to fish. I am coming down from NW Arkansas to do some crappie fishing with him. I mostly spider rig. I have never been on Lake Waco before and I am not looking for specific spots but feelings on the general pattern people think I will find next week. We are going on a guide trip Monday with a guide, recommended by the biologist at the TPWD I talked with, to learn the lake and he said he would give me a lot of good info. I do know no one person has all the ideas so I would love to hear some thoughts from others that know crappie on Lake Waco. I think they will basically be in a pre-spawn pattern but not sure what part of the lake that would put me. Thanks in advance for your help.
