Default Got to fish Rayburn this morning

Son's home from school for a couple days so we fished this morning. We sure have a good crop coming up. We caught a bunch of little ones and had a ball. He caught 7 good keepers for supper this evening. I didn't catch anything to keep. He was using minnows and I was using Lake Fork Live Baby Shad Jigs using various colors. Fish were in 18-22' of water anywhere from 4-8' down. The small fish would smash it but the bigger ones would just inhale it and set there. I had a couple unexpected bites and they took me to the brush or wraped me around the tree and I boke off. No pictures today but we did have fun, we were North of Jackson Hill Marina so they are moving back to my brush piles.
Everyone have a safe Memorial Day Weekend, don't forget to thank a Veteran shake their hand or just say Thanks. Remember those who gave their all so we can fish in freedom. Ferdi aka Fred

We went night fishing on the 26th when my son and his new family was here. We all caught at least one crappie and had enough that the wife and I had it last night. It was a slow night and I deserve it because I have not put any brush out and could kick my self in the rear for that! I am mad at self for sure!

Forgot the pic. Didn't take a pic of all the fish, but took this pic of our new family addition with one she caught and one extra. Dang I hate it did 2!

Hey Skip, good pictures of the Granddaughter that you have. Congratulations to you and your son. Offer still stands about setting brush, just holler. Ferdi aka Fred
