Thread: LOP Report - 1/29/11

Arrived at the Overlook Launch at a little after 7:00 and had to take a number to put the boat in the water. Finally got out on the lake and went to the 26-31' water I had been catching fish on the last several trips. Picked up one here and there for about an hour a so, until I decided to make a move to a different area a friend caught a bunch on Thursday in 21-24'. Wish we would have gone there first, but I had a hard time passing up where I had been catching fish. We did well at the new area and ended up with 43 crappie at 12:30, but we left them biting to take care of other business this afternoon. Most fish were from 1-1.5# with a few dinks and two fish over two pounds. The best colors for us today were pink/white and light blue/white.

Appreciate the LOP updates on Texas forum. Good to get ya'll Louisiana boys over here to share this crappie haven. Funny I have to go to Louisiana forum alot to get a Tx report.
