Nice catch and good job away from work.
It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Hey Rudy, I fished Shutes on the 8th too, but I only caught one keeper so I turned him loose. This will make you laugh. My trolling motor switch went out on wed. too! I replaced it and went to cedar creek on thursday. The water in Cedar Creek was much clearer than Shutes on Wed. The water temp in Cedar Creek always seems to be a few degrees warmer. I guess because the water is farther off the main channel and is shallower for the most part it has a chance to warm up faster.

Nice catch too! I will have to look for you the next time I'm at Shutes. I left shortly after 12pm since my trolling switch was out. I was probably gone before you got there.

I did not get there until 12:45.... your trolling motor switch went out Wednesday as well is just weirdly funny, I had to go to Hendersonville yesterday to Marine Electric Service off New Shackle Island Road to purchase the little switch for $12.68, the guy Mike who owns the shop is a real nice guy and seems to be very savvy marine electronics he is also a certified Mercury Dealer and mechanic he also works on trolling motors as well, took me about 10 minutes to install the switch. The crappie had a reprieve from me on Thursday but come this weekend its on.
