Duck season is over for me , but the good news is I now get to chase crappies :D. This weekend I'm plannin on making a little trip up to Center Hill on Saturday with a buddy of mine. Gonna beat some stumps and try some docks and see if we can pull a couple out. We not gonna fool with any trout fishin down on the river, just crappie fishin on the main lake. I haven't fished up there in prolly 15 years and I been meanin to get back. So Saturday is the day.

Anyway, do any of you know of any bait shops that have minnows this time of year around the Center Hill Marina, Hurricane Dock Resort boat ramp, or the dam? Sometimes bait shops don't carry minnows in the winter and I jus wanna make sure I know where to be lookin fer em.

And I might as well ask...anybody been fishing Center Hill here lately? If so, how deep you finding them? I'm expecting them to be holding in 25' to 35' of water or so around structure. Also, are you having better luck on the dam side of the lake or the upriver side?
