    Crappies and gills are still on the trees.You are going to have to start working hard for the crappies however.Fish slow and be patient with the jigpole.They are holding about 4ft.deep right against the trees.You can also find them in open water.They were suspended about 6 ft.deep last week.That was in water anywhere from 12 to 14 ft. deep in the lower blue basin.The big gills are around the trees and any type cover that is on the lake.The pads in about 1 to 2 ft. water are good right now.Grizzly jigs and wax worms will catch a mess quickly.My fishing is over until fall so good luck to everyone.

    Tube jig (Orange/chart), with wax worm, jig right off the bottom, around the trees and in the pads....then hold on.
