Thread: Old Hickory 5/16

Gloria and I got on the lake at 9:00 this morning. We only caught 1 crappie and she was suspended in 20' of water. We were surprised to see she still had her eggs. Caught 3 shellcraker and alot of gills. 8 catfish went into the livewell. The biggest was 5 1/2 lbs. and was caught under a float with ultra-lite tackel on 6 lb test. That was the highlight. Caught about 6-7 bass and at least a dozen drum. Breaks my wife's heart to get that fish to the boat and see it is a drum.

With the wind today is seemed pretty cold out there. We ended up seeking spots out of the wind.

You haven't seen us MUDBUG because we have been putting in at Saundersville Access and Lock 4 Park the last 5 times out. The fishing seems much better down there than it does in Bledsoe. Good luck this weekend Black Crow. We will not go back out until Monday.
