Thread: Wind!

Hope it ain't so bad this weekend. Supposed to take Crappietime and Austin out on a nightstalking trip on Thursday after work, and then a guy from work wants to go out Friday evening for a few hours. Looking at these dogwoods starting to bloom has got me antsy!

Are you talking about yo yo fishing or fishing for crappie?

Well, if it's me, Crappietime, and Austin, there will be three yo yos in the boat, but Crappietime just got one of those fancy green flourescent lights that's guaranteed to catch fish, so we've gotta take it out and test it and make sure it works! Plan is to put some jugs out for cats, and then sit next to some boo that we found close to the stones river channel and hope that Mr. Papermouth shows up to join the party!

Is that the $194 one? Seemed awfully high priced so I didn't bite, but they sure talked a good game. Made me almost ......do it. As good as my wife is, she'd would have had a cow, and demanded a new piece of furniture for the house, and she likes to fish as much as me!:D

Think he got the one from Dicks....He ain't say how much it cost, but I'm gonna tell Mrs Crappietime that it was $400, unless he agrees to buy minnows and beer until August! :D:D:D

How much beer do we need for Thursday night if I am off?It was the short one for 18.96 at dicks.I aint going to go all out for something high dollar till I know it works.I may pick up some shiners also when we go out so we can have something big for big cats.

Well...considering that I've gotta be a work at 8:00 on Friday......i'm not sure about how much beer. Wind is supposed to be out of the South South West, so I'm hoping for higher water temps. Can't wait to get out at night again. Gotta rummage thru the garage and look for my plug in spotlight.
