    Default Perryville Pump Station 3/9

Slow. Got 16. Mostly big fish 1 lb to a couple over 2 lbs. Water is stained. It was a beautiful day!
    Thank You,

You drove from Nashville to go to the P. pump station? That's hardcore there. Glad you caught some fish.

16 would be a good day for me. Especially at Perryville. Is that the pump station at Mousetail? Any details as to how you caught 'em?

I find it hard to fish the pump station I usually pull out of there and hit beech river stake mates. I guess spider rigers do pretty good there though.

Way to go Bream Reaper that's good. I always liked fishing in there. The Beech River is good also. I went to Big Sandy today. Only brought home 7. Caught a bunch of fish but no real big ones though.

So what did you catch them on, minnows or jigs?

Capps & Coleman rigs with minnows. Depth was 6' to 9' and caught the fish about 3' deep. Water temp was just about 50 degrees. WInd was about 5 to 10 and it felt wonderful. Not too hot and not too cold. Where is the Beech River by chance? I am not familiar with it.

Good catch . I might be up in that area this week . If you see a guy in a White Alumacraft , it's me . I fish around Perryville , but seem to do better father to the north .

If you were fishing the pump station at Mousetail Landing , the Beech River would be up river about a mile , just past the 412 bridge on the right .
