I've got four of the handhelds, I'll bring my up and we can see what they will do RFY.

I have a marine Radio my self and like it...works great and has coast guard frequency when fishing big lakes...upnorth.

I have a marine VHF radio on mine. What channel do you fellas usually run? I will be at the Tie Yard this coming Sunday.
