Nice. Yeah the leaves in the mountains are hard to compete with in fall.

Kinda had my doubts for a while now. Turnover and weather and so on not helping me at all. We’ve been getting some nice weather and I was hoping that the lower water temps and sunny days might get a few moving. The only folks I’ve met that have caught any were all using live scope and dropping it on their head. I’m not equipped for such as that. What I have gotten limits of is the fall colors, absolutely beautiful hillsides here that I missed while I was further south.
The fish have come to visit in small numbers. Today I was pleased to get the one Crappie in the pic, tough day for me but still a good trip. Got two small gills about 5 inches each and the one Crappie for the day. Big surprise was that there was no bass. Usually get a few small ones anyway but not today. Temps started dropping letting me know it was time for the house. Glad to enjoy the afternoon, these will be harder to come by with temps this good. Here’s the other pic and I hope y'all get out soon.

Weather is taking a turn for the dumb side soon, we won’t get many more days like this for a while. Glad I got out when I did.
