Thread: Got to fish a little

Well Sunday I was finally able to get out on the water again. Surgery and pneumonia can take a lot out of an old man!.
Any way after a rough start, a broken choke connector on my outboard . I got out and ended up catching a few under Anderson rd Bridge.

Water temp was 59 and wind and current was moving along fast. Lots of trash in stained water.

caught five crappie and a yellow bass, and dropped a yellow bass just as I picked it up. As I had to stop around 3 pm several boats showed up to the bridge and there were several yaks in the area also. For me I consider it a good day.

I did see something new to me. At Holly Park there was a womens only bass tourny being held. they only had five boats and I wasn't around for the results but seemed awesome to me to see.
