Jay W and I got out this morning and fished from 12 until 2:15 pm. It was 36 degrees when we launched the boat and a 9 mph NNE wind and the initial run of 10 minutes was cold. Brrrr. But the wind laid down as expected in less than 30 minutes so it was a pleasant two hour trip.

We located a good school of fish around an old submerged bridge in deep water over 20 feet, and the bite was slow but we managed to catch 3 different species, 2 each and they were all nice keepers. White bass, yellow bass and crappie. The yellow bass that Jay caught was almost 10” and I caught one of 9”+.

Water flow in main river was 56K and surface temp was 53-54 degrees with a bright sun shining on us and the water. Jay let me keep the fish for dinner. I owe him. Grin.
