Springville 1/24/23
Water 45dF, light NE wind, sunny early. Searched mats from 8’ through 12’ nothing…moved to old creek channel stumps in 15-17’, found lots of fish but no big schools. Tried EVERYTHING in the boat, plastics, hair, feather, minnows, etc. Bite was slow but steady, one per stump and nothing stood out as ‘preferred’. Kept 18, mostly 10.5-11” (had to measure all but 4), big fish was 13.5”…FWIW, got checked by TWRA toolin’ around in a jon boat…VERY nice guys
