Now that you have posted your first report, you're good to go. Now you can post your own reports in your own thread. How cool is that? Even though the report that you post is a a not so good one, they are still every valuable. They give an idea of what the fish are doing at any given season.

It was around 55 degrees this morning when we put in at Normandy, the water temp around 75, I think. Lots of fog, and still a fair amount of floating debris left over from the flooding/rain from a week or so ago. We saw plenty of fish on the fish finder (that we are still learning to use) but they weren’t interested in jigs. We couldn’t stay very long so we gave up and tied on some rooster tails to fish fallen trees along the bank. Caught several bluegill and bass, and ONE tiny crappie. We are used to kayak fishing smaller and more shallow areas (Duck river blue way, Williamsport lakes) so we’ve got a lot to learn about fishing in a boat on a much larger, deeper lake.

We didn’t catch much, but then I have no problem admitting that we don’t know what we’re doing. So, today’s fishing report is worth exactly what you paid for it - NOTHING! LOL It was a gorgeous day and we enjoyed ourselves - it was certainly better than yard work/house work.
