I had not thought anything about the mayflies being anywhere around. I put in at the ramp in Dayton, went and shot the toons at Bluewater. Then headed down the river in search of some deeper docks. No mayflies up river from there. I was surprised to see them. I fished around a few minutes and headed back to load the boat
