I was ledge fishing for those old trashy green fish. I managed to catch ONE. I was pouring buckets of sweat by 10a. Brutal. I live in Ooltewah and often drive to Grasshopper Creek to avoid the crowd. Not many fishing. Actually peaceful for a change. Different world from the insane Harrison Bay area. I always carry a few rods for crappie...can't help it. I motored up to the bridge to catch some air and cool off. One column was loaded with what looked like crappie. Heaviest jig head I had was 1/8 oz and I didn't have any split shots. I could not get my jig down to them before current carried it away.
