Wife and I got to fish this past Saturday (1/26) for about half a day. We stayed in West Sandy to keep out of the wind and did manage to put 16 keepers in the box. Started out 3/4 the way back in the creek and worked out way out following the creek channel, we had 3 keepers and threw back close to 50 shorts 2 hours into the day. We moved out to the mouth of the creek and while crossing over 20 - 22 fow to get to 14 fow we picked up a nice keeper. I was marking some fish in the deeper water so we spun around and went back through the deeper water again and picked up another keeper. With that I got us in the channel and ran with the channel, still marking fish in 20 fow, but no bites. I ran us over to the ledge the came across the channel at 90 degrees and we caught another keeper. We spent the next 1.5 hours going back and forth over the channel and managed to pick up the remainder of our keepers. We were fishing with double 1/8th jigs and a 3/4 oz weight running 14 to 12 fow. Best colors were a Crappie slab magnet pink /chart, then a blue body/chart 2.5" stinger with sparkle. I had hot grubs on in the same colors but had very few bites before changing to all 2.5" long soft plastics they definitely wanted larger baits. Water had stain and was 39 to 40 degrees. Biggest fish went 13", average was 12".

Good luck to all!
