What a pig, great mount. Thanks for sharing. I've not even broken the 3lb mark for my personal best.

Congratulations to Jam on his great accomplishment that the rest of us can only dream about. I agree that it was a great job mounting that hawg and I'm sure that taxidermist's business will get a pretty good boost for the awesome job he did on this trophy too. It reminds me of a young kid that me and some other took deer hunting one time for his first time ever and actually took him to the stand and told him to stay there and hunt until one of us came to get him. Well, this kid ended up killing a beautiful fourteen point buck with a 27" inside spread.

Just like I told that kid on the morning of that hunt: I am afraid it's all downhill for Jam now... although I'm sure he loves fishing just as much as he always has; but when you catch a world record fish there's only one way to go... that's downhill. He seems like such a down to earth person... I'm sure he's just as happy goin' fishin' every chance he gets... and prolly won't give it much of a thought. I'm sure it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Jam was referred to me about mounting the fish. He called me and I urged him to consider having the fish reproduced by a taxidermist who had reproduced 8 different world records. By having the fish reproduced he could have sold reproductions AND had the real fish skin mounted. I guess Jam decided to go a different direction.
    Congrats on a great fish.

A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work.

That’s down right “slabtabulous”. Having that one on the hook would be a time I wouldn’t want to be fishing light line.

    Great fish!

Wonder what the record is for Asian carp? I may have a shot at it .
