Thread: Catfish anyone? 81518

I had a good morning with Dr Phil yesterday catching Blue catfish, so Cuonthelake wanted to try it today. We had lots of bait stealing bites but very few hookups today. We only landed 7 and I had my two biggest fish pull off about 1/2 way to the surface from 40-45 feet of water. I need some new hooks. Grin.

It it was nice early, but the sun got hot by 10:30 when we decided to pull the plug on the fishing. Garlic chicken breast chunks and garlic hot dogs were our bait of choice. Fish bit both equally well, but like that old man told my step daddy one time when he ask if the fish were biting. He replied, “yes, but they aren’t swallowing.” Lolol.
