    Haven’t been there enough to know the water levels. Wanting to come single pole. Tried a few times last year just never successfully!

    I was there Monday, water was up maybe 1.5'. Decent color.
    I'm new to the lake also, spider rigged deep, 5 keepers....
    Group from Mo. had the dangdest mess of crappie I've ever seen, maybe 150 fish all over 1.75#!
    Going back tomorrow to try and learn something.......

    I have all the equipment to spider rig. Just not good at it. Also I really enjoy single poleing.

    Single polers probably need another couple of weeks. I was there on Tuesday and the water temp was 52.4. Just my experience that it needs to warm a little more to move some fish up on the trees.

    I figured the water was still a lil cool. Maybe it will warm up the last of the month!

    Next 10 days looks pretty cool/cold. After that the real warm-up should commence.
