Crappie deep and wide
Got out with the wife and had a good day with chartreuse pepper
Hit a community hole with surprising results.
Using 1/16 sickles and just tight lining over rocks and stumps and being very still, the big boys came out to play.
Started with a 1.98 black and many 13"s in between we finished with a 1.87 fat white
After 3 hours we ran away and had lunch.
I got a 2 lb smallie and the day before I got my OTGFa 6lb obligatory trashy green fish.
Very fun on my 6lb crappie rod. I took out the hook after I fought it in and weighed and released it and then --- stepped on my new rod
Not a problem it was a great experience anyway.
