I've been checked there...by a creel survey officer. I don't remember ever seeing conservation officers on the water there.

I've been checked twice in 30 yrs by the same warden, same week. I cant afford those fines and court cost so, I keep it legal and measure with a metal ruler attached to my cooler.....leave some for seed:wink:

I crappie fish often and never have I thought a (close) to legal fish is worth $250.00 fine, We finally got a 8 inch limit and 20 fish per person.But I still see guys keeping short fish $250.00 would buy a lot of fish
