Thread: Cherokee or Douglas

A friend moved to Bulls Gap area he has not had time to fish. I would like to come down and try either lake sometime. Which lake is better fishing? Which of two is better for crappie? Would stay at campground I also have a boat. Could come down first week October. Any input on either lake would be aprreciated

By early Oct you ought to be able to pull plugs and get some decent numbers on Douglas. Went yesterday only had two before white caps hit around noon. Bandits and Shad Raps....
