Thread: Douglas Report - 26 Oct 2016

When we got up this morning Mammie Whammy was feeling poorly but insisted I go on (I am within 10 minutes of the house), got on the water late. Surface temp was 70.1, very light wind. First cast sha---zam a Slobbber Knocker, the next four cast produced 4 really good Crappie. Thought I would switch off and do a little Small Mouth fishing, the next two hrs produced 3 from 13 to 14 15/16 inches and I had three more good strikes. Thought it was time to go back to Crappie Fishing, pulled into an old favorite spot and it was WHAM - BAM almost every cast, finished out my limit, called the dogs and headed home to check on Mammie, she is feeling fine this afternoon. She even help me clean my fish.
