My step daughters boyfriend Greg and I fished the MTCC fishing tournament at Tim's Saturday. It was cold and windy to start the day an 7. Partly cloudy 38going up to 68 winds blowing 10-15 water temp was 68 lake is being drawn down for winter but still at a good level. We were under dressed for the weather to start the day so we looked for a place out of the north wind. First place produced nothing but the week before I had gotten fish off of it. It warmed a bit so we moved to a dock I know of. Someone was there already so went to some blow downs. First one and nothing. Second one Nothing. Third one and Greg caught 2 good keepers of of them about 6 ft down in 10 ft of water close to brush. Still frozen as we were in the wind now we decide after about 2 hours of not getting any crappie to get out of the wind for a few. Nothing there either. Back to the wind and another blow down but only 1 keeper. Ended the day with 3 fish weighing 3lbs and change. Was a tough day for us but others did way better. Check out the MTCC thread for the winners. Will be fishing Normandy next time if there is still enough water at the ramp to launch.
Good fishing everyone.

Good report Dave. Not in the money but it all ended well. Keep after it, we all know that lake will keep you humble.
