I am fishing Old Hickory again this week near my home in Madison, TN. Last week I fished the area by Cages Bend Campground. I fished a couple of creek channels, 10-15 ft deep flats off the creek channel and even the river channel edge last week with no luck. I was spider rigging w single jigs running them 5-10 ft deep mostly.

This week I will be closer to the dam end of the lake. I was thinking with the cooler temps the fish would be moving into creeks and coves and shallows now. Any direction on pattern or method will be much appreciated. I am taking my 85 year old grandpa out a couple of times this week and would love to get him on a fish or two.
