Default Grasshopper in search of a Master on Chickamauga

I envy you guys and gals that can go out fishing and catch'em on a consistent basis. I have fished for the last 3 days and only caught 2 crappie, one short and one 12" fish. I fished 15-30 fow, points, flats, creek channel and river ledges. I checked the docks I have found fish on in the past, nothing. Even the few brush piles that I know of. I have even night fished. No luck. If anyone out there needs a student I'm your man. I have all this book theory rolling around in my head I looked on what I consider "text book" structure and cover, yes I know, "100% of the fish only use 10% of the water. As if it wasn't difficult enough.

    You are not alone.

However, I know where the fish are, but Ima waiting for them to grow up.

I failed to mention I was out of fishing for 20 years due to parental responsibility, aka child support.... Now I'm playing catch up. Though I have all this theory in my head I have limited on the water practical experience. There in lies my problem.
