We went to the 1000 acre lake in Carroll Co yesterday and had a great time. The last time we were there a couple years ago, we caught a lot of fish but none were over 9 inches. I'm happy to report those little guys are keepers now.
Water temp ranged from 58 to just knocking on 60. We were slow trolling jigs in 14 - 16 fow and they favored chartreuse tipped with nibbles. At one point, I had a crappie on all four of my rods at the same time, which was awesome. We ended up with 23 keepers (all blacks) and 2 nice bream. We also ran into some guys that Paul works with and ended up fishing the same area.
