Took my step daughters boyfriend Greg to Tim's Saturday morning. Had to wait on the bait shop at Rock creek to open. They don't open until 7. It was a little slow at first but picked up as the day went on although the wind got pretty rough. Glad we went to rock creek. We caught a variety of fish. Yellow's, blue gill, bass, 1 catfish and crappie. We started counting late and ended the day at 2 o'clock with 51 fish boated and a number of them, Greg, lost next to the boat. 35 of them were crappie but only 6 keepers. Ranged from 13.5 - 10.5 didn't weigh any but the bigger ones were pretty heavy with eggs. Most of the time I do not keep fish but Greg was very excited about our catch so he kept 4 of the crappie a big yellow and the catfish. The smaller fish and bigger fish were in the same areas, same depth. Fished minnows 5-12 feet deep. Fished piers and blow downs. Surface water temp was 59-62.

" I go fishing not to find myself but to lose myself ".
Good trip Dave.
Thanks for the report.
Congrats on a fine catching day.
Life is good. Fishing is better.
That was a good day Dave. Sounds like it's picking up. My boat hasn't moved in 5 or 6 weeks, long story. Hopefully this weekend. Good times and good weather are just around the corner.
