I would guess you had a hybrid bass hit your jig.
In this cold front, they are hitting small baits.....and they run like a freight train!
Williamsport has a good population of big hybrids there.
If you ever think about wanting to land one, have your drag set fairly loose. They can be brought in on 4# line but you'll have to play'em for awhile.
