    Default Report Chickamauga

Went to the Harrison Bay area yesterday. First thing to tell is water temp 89 degrees. My how things change in a week. Bait fish have become very scattered as well as fish. Pulled crankbaits for 4 hrs while fighting to keep them clean of grass. Lots of shorts, tally for the day was 2 big blue cats, 2 keeper crappie, and 2 keeper green fish. Good news is the new toys worked great. Especially the Helix-5 Bird.

    Thanks for report!

Finally found where everyone is posting from CFF. I am going to have to try this crank trolling, I have done it for smallies and trout on dale hollow. Have to get some of these bandits!

I bought some of the Arkie 350 cranks and the smaller crappie cranks on their site, pulled good. They were cheaper so it doesn't hurt as bad when you loose one. Also saw where Grizzly jig is carrying the now at an even better price, they are not on there web yet but if you call they will take your order. Go to the Arkie site to pick the colors before you call.

    Congrats, it's getting tuff everywhere.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
