    Default Reelfoot Question

I see lots of daily big crappie posts from guide sites like Blue Bank but all I see here are not so good reports. I know this is not the only source for reports but what I'm hearing from others are the same. Are the fish biting up there for guides only or am I missing something? I'm a beginning troller. I like hand to hand combat jigging in the trees. When does it turn on up here?

I got back yesterday we caught 30 over three days, it was almost like we had the lake to ourselves most of the time. It was slow averaged about a fish an hour.Good news is we did catch a lot of little crappie, and the ones we kept were big. i hope it gets better and soon.

Good deal. We're you trolling? Any fish moving toward the shallows?

I am a local there and over the weekend I caught 54 BIG ones and a lot of throw backs trolling. There are some fish being caught in the trees but you have to know where to go. I have been getting ready for the bass tourney for this weekend so I have not got any reports since Sunday but I will almost be willing to bet it has did nothing but get better.
