Default Reelfoot wind - upper vs lower basin

I know, another Reelfoot thread. We are coming down next week and the weather looks horrible. We have always fished the lower Basin in the past while staying at Blue Bank. Now we have our own boat, so I can put in at upper if need be. My question is, what does the upper Basin look like when there are 20+ mph gusts? Nothing worse then planning a trip and then mother nature takes a big 💩 on the days you will be there 4/9-4/11.

I will be there at the same time. Hoping that the forecast changes as we get closer. Normally they're wrong anyway. Cross fingers

Upper is not as big or wide as lower but the wind can still play havoc. Twice as many stumps and after rain can become muddy more quickly. Any type of wind on reelfoot is bad. A 10 mph wind is usually a 20 mph wind at reelfoot
