The Muddy Miss
Well, that is what the South Big Sandy looked like Monday. Lots of folks were roaming aimlessly in search of a bite of glory, but not much glory was to be found. The water temp in South Big Sandy was about 6 degrees higher than in West Sandy (51*). West Sandy was not near as muddy as South Big Sandy.
I put out some laydown brush piles Tuesday in the high winds. Had West Sandy to myself for the most part. Oak brush laydowns hold fish better than anything you can put out for cover. Period.
Brenda and I caught some good size egg toters Monday right before sundown. All whites in 4-6 FOW. Them toters always come to visit us this time of the year.
Floating minners.
Also netted a 14 inch bass on a 1/16 oz char and pink slab daddy. (A plug for my pal Wally).
