I've fished Cedar creek and done well, I've long lined and spider rigged in there, there's man made structure and the depth range is 0 to 23 fow, most of my long lining has been near the main lake channel. Also I believe you can dock you boat at Cedar creek Marina 615-758-5174. Old hickory is my home lake. That said JJP has been hot as far as crappie last year and even now they are catching some numbers, long line trolling works good as well. I would put in at Fate Saunders and go up lake to the Spring creek area. I believe the Marina has slip rental available on a daily basis also their number is 615-459-6219.
