Lodging near big sandy

Hi everybody, me and my brother come up in April to big sandy every year to fish. Last year we stayed at Mansord island it was OK, really liked the convenience of the boat slips, can yall recommend a similar place to stay that's cheap and has their own boat slips any help would be great thanks.

Fish tale lodge. Great hotel but you have to trailer your boat

Hands down Buchanan Resort, has the convenience of the boat slips you are looking for. Bait shop and a really good restaurant. They are in Eagle creek you will not be disappointed.

Pleasant View at the Springville pumping station. Super nice folks there.

I agree with Fishtale Lodge!! We stay there every year. State boat ramp is right down road & places to eat within walking distance.

Thanks everybody looks like I'm gonna stay at Mansord island again, the price may be a little high and I think it sucks that they cash your deposit check right away, but you just can't beat the location and the conveniences.
