[Fishorhunt]

I took some friends to a place on the lake today that they were wanting to hunt since they don't have a boat. Sitting still is torcher to me so my deer hunt lasted only about an hour before I went back to the boat. I trolled around incase a deer came to the water.
I had a Crappie rod with me but the water was crystal clear and I could see the bottom 10 feet deep so I didn't figure I would do any good but when I went across a creek channel the depth dropped to 20 feet and fish were stacked in it. I grabbed my rod and went to fishing. I caught green carp, stripe and some HUGE bluegill but not Crappie. I was fishing near the bottom so I shallowed up and on the first cast I caught a 13" Crappie. Then more Crappie I managed 6 keepers and a throw back before I heard a shoot and my phone started ringing for me to come pick them up. Not a bad way to spend the day.
